Showerthought: A clogged pump in the Missouri River taught me to check the intake screen twice a day
We were working near Jefferson City last fall and the main pump kept losing prime. Turned out the intake screen was getting packed with river weed way faster than usual. Now I make a point to check it at lunch and again before we shut down, no matter what. Anyone else have a simple check they added after a bad day on the water?

What about checking the anchor line before you even drop it? Found mine was almost frayed through once. Now I run my hands down the whole thing every single time.
