Had a snowblower chuck a chunk of ice right through my finished garage wall last January.

I was clearing the driveway after that big storm and the blower kicked up a frozen clump. It went straight through the drywall like a cannonball. Made a hole the size of a basketball. My neighbor saw it and just started laughing on the spot. I had to patch it up the next day in 15 degree weather. The mud took forever to dry even with a space heater. Has anyone else had something random smash through their work?

Life has a funny way of testing your patience when you least expect it.

Notice how we always talk about patience being tested when things go wrong, but nobody mentions how hard it is to keep your patience when everything is going right. Like when you're on a hot streak with work or life and suddenly you get this little voice telling you to brace for the crash. That constant waiting for the other shoe to drop is its own kind of test, you know? It takes a weird type of patience to just enjoy good moments without ruining them by worrying. Maybe the real test isn't handling the bad stuff but learning to sit still during the good stuff too.
