Shoutout to the time I almost lost a $5k deal because of a bad phone connection

I was closing a deal from a coffee shop in Austin and my call dropped three times, making me look totally unprepared. Has anyone else found a reliable mobile hotspot they swear by?

That "bad phone connection" thing is brutal, but honestly I see it differently. I've had way more trouble with flaky public wifi than my actual cell service. For me, the real fix was just making important calls from a quiet room at home.

Totally get the quiet room thing. But honestly, my cell service drops in my own house half the time. I end up pacing near one specific window like a weirdo just to finish a call. Public wifi is a mess, but at least you expect it to be bad.

Is it really that big of a deal though? You just find the window spot and stay there.
