Can we talk about the number of stitches in a baseball cap?

I was looking at a factory spec sheet for a basic 59Fifty and it said there are 216 stitches in the brim alone. Has anyone else stumbled on a weirdly specific construction detail that made you rethink a simple piece?

Agree with patricia_wells on that thread count thing. Got a pack of plain white t-shirts last month and the tag said 40 singles. Now I rub the fabric like a weirdo to see if I can feel it. Stitches on caps make sense once you think about it, that brim needs to hold its curve and not warp in the rain. It is wild how a simple number like 216 can make you realize how much thought goes into something you just grab off the rack.

Man, my buddy got a new coffee grinder last month. He read the specs out loud, about burr size and grind settings. Now every time we make coffee he points out the exact sound of the beans crushing. Yeah exactly, "makes you wonder what else we're just glancing over." That tag thing hit close to home. I started checking the seams on my jeans after reading about stitch density and now I can't stop. It's like a whole hidden world in everyday stuff.
