Shoutout to the crew that showed me how to set a post with a level versus just eyeballing it
After seeing a 40-foot vinyl section I put in last month start to lean, I finally understood why they take the extra two minutes per post to check it from two sides.

Absolutely, that extra two minutes saves you hours of headache later on. Watched a neighbor's deck railing go all wobbly because the posts weren't squared up right. It's one of those things you only skip once, after you've had to fix the mess it makes.

Yeah, the "skip once" part is so true. I see it with my own garden fence posts from last year, leaning a bit now because I rushed. It's like that with anything you build or even just assemble. That tiny bit of extra care at the start is what keeps stuff solid for the long run.
