Warning: I chose to keep using AI detection tools even after a false positive flagged my own work.
Everyone says to ditch them after one mistake, but I kept using Glaze for a month. It caught three real slop posts I would have missed. Has anyone else stuck with a tool that messed up for them?

Look, I get where umaf44 is coming from with the smoke alarm thing, but sometimes you need that extra check. If the tool caught three actual AI posts you missed, that's a real benefit. The key is knowing it's flawed and using your own brain to double-check its weird calls, not throwing the whole thing out because it glitched once.

Oh, so you're the person who keeps using a smoke alarm that sometimes goes off because you burnt toast, because it did actually find a real fire that one time. I guess if you don't mind the occasional false alarm waking you up at 3 AM, more power to you. It's just funny that the tool basically accused you of cheating on your own homework and you were like "we're still cool".
