Totally get the camping trip thing. My phone died on a hike once and I missed like twenty photos. Now I check how long power banks actually last, not just their size. It makes all the difference when you are really using it.

Yeah, that's it exactly. We focus on the big number on the box instead of how the thing works when we're actually using it. Like internet plans that promise crazy fast speed but slow to a crawl at 7 PM, or a car's MPG that's only true on a perfect empty highway. The advertised spec is almost never the real world experience.

Check the fine print on the charging speed too.
