A frantic week of 3D printing disasters taught me to never skip nozzle checks

I kept getting stringy, messy prints because I assumed my nozzle was clear after the last project. Turns out, a tiny bit of leftover filament was causing clogs and inconsistent extrusion. Taking five minutes to clean it properly before starting saved me from scrapping half a spool of PLA, lmao. Seriously, check your hardware even if you think it's fine.

Wait, you just assumed it was clear without even looking?

Actually, I looked before assuming... @quinng85's point makes sense.

Our lab's $10k Stratasys jams if we skip the pre-print purge cycle. Expensive hardware doesn't forgive assumptions either.
