inSerious question, has anyone else had issues with the new 'Pro-Grip' framing nailer from Harbor Freight?
Maybe check if your local tool library rents them out, then you can test a few before buying.

inWarning: that 'unlimited' art storage site I used just deleted my whole 2023 folder
CloudCanvas had that "forever safe" promise on their front page for months... honestly sounds like a marketing gimmick now. Losing a whole year's work folder is brutal but maybe check if it got moved or archived weird in their system. These smaller sites change stuff without telling people all the time.

inShowerthought: A home sink fix taught me a sharp lesson about part checks.
Yeah that's a bad plan for sure. Seen enough stripped threads and broken bolts to know better. It's like using a paperclip to hold up a shelf, works until it really doesn't. My own dumb projects have taught me that lesson the hard way.

inTIL that pre-filling screw holes with a dab of compound before driving the screw actually works
That method can work great if you use the right mud. The key is using a lightweight compound that doesn't gum up. Just a tiny dab makes a big difference on springy wood.
