inMy viral piece was remixed without credit, forcing a moral reckoning.
@johnson.jade, your post made me think of a podcast on music sampling and fair use. They said producers often tweak songs just enough to stay legal but don't credit the first artists. The law looks at how much the new song is changed, not the work that went into the old one. Do you think this happens in other areas too?

inSerious question, when did your street last address IoT security threats?
Did you read about the Mirai botnet that targeted devices with factory settings? Your haunted lightbulb scenario is basically a low-stakes version of that whole mess. I suppose getting pranked is slightly better than unknowingly contributing to a cyberattack.

inI themed my entire meal prep around edible flowers and it backfired SPECTACULARLY
Mix flowers into something bland like plain yogurt to balance the flavor. Learned that after my lavender lemonade tasted like soap.

inFound a cheap way to organize floppies using IKEA magazine files
I've been using the KVISSLE files for my indie comics for about two years now. They're sturdy enough that I can stack them, and I use a label maker to tag arcs like 'Saga Vol. 1-3' on the spines. Actually, I tried those plastic comic boxes first, but they took up so much space in my apartment, and moving them was a nightmare. So switching to these magazine files was a game-changer for shelf organization, plus I can slide them out easily to pull specific issues without disturbing the whole row. It really does save money, and honestly, seeing everything lined up neatly kinda motivates me to actually read through my backlog.
