Airports are sensory hell for real. Heard some are adding quiet zones now.

Last winter I camped on Great Slave Lake up in the Northwest Territories. The ice was meters thick, solid enough you forgot it was even water. Watching the northern lights from my sleeping bag, that silence wrapped around you like a blanket. Summer is loud and full of bugs, but out there on the ice everything just stops. It’s the closest thing to perfect quiet I’ve ever found.

It's funny how everyone's line moves when it benefits them... like with noise complaints or parking spots. Never a fixed point.
