My fishing log hit 100 days on the water this year and it kinda blew my mind.

I just added up all my trips from the Kenai to Ketchikan since January. I hit exactly 100 days yesterday after a quick evening run for silvers. It's way more than I ever tracked before and it made me realize how much time I've spent out there. Anyone else keep a serious log and have a number that surprised them?

My own log from last season showed 73 days, and I was sure I had miscounted. Seeing it written down makes you realize how much of your life is just... out there. It's not about the fish at that point, it's about the hours you put in. The log stops being a record and starts being a receipt for your time. I don't know if that's good or bad, but it's definitely real.

Honestly I used to think logs were overkill but that's wild.
