My uncle told me to always pack a headnet for the Kenai in July

I thought he was being dramatic, but I went fishing near Cooper Landing last summer without one. The mosquitoes were so thick you could barely see the river, and I ended up cutting the trip short by two days. Anyone have a good bug spray that actually works up there?

Actually, a headnet beats any spray when the bugs are that bad.

My last camping trip I looked like a beekeeper who lost a bet. @oliver_mitchell is right, the headnet was a lifesaver, even if I felt like a complete dork wearing it.
