Our group spent two meetings just trying to figure out the ending of 'The Three-Body Problem'

Honestly, we picked it for our April read thinking it would be a cool sci-fi change of pace. Tbh, the last thirty pages threw everyone into a loop about the physics and the fate of the main character. We spent the first hour of the next meeting just re-reading passages out loud and drawing diagrams on a whiteboard. Ngl, has anyone else's club gotten totally stuck on a book's ending like that?

Oh man, my friend's book club totally imploded over the ending of "Gone Girl." They argued for weeks about whether Nick was actually guilty of anything, and two people stopped talking over it. Some endings just break a group.

Yeah, the "drawing diagrams on a whiteboard" part is so real. Some books just need a whole extra meeting to unpack.
