Dropped $250 on a DIY EEG setup and my brain keeps unplugging itself
Bought a $250 OpenBCI kit off a guy in Portland to mess around with motor imagery stuff, and it actually picked up a clear signal on the first try, which felt like magic. Then it stopped working mid-session because my own hair kept breaking the electrode contact, so I shaved a patch on the side of my head like an idiot. Anyone else fighting their own scalp to keep a dry electrode connected, or am I the only one losing hair over this hobby?
Wouldn't a wet electrode or a little conductive gel save you the razor? Shaving your head to make a hobby work seems like the hard way when there are easier fixes for dry contact problems.
