Honestly, that's a huge price gap for a senior project. Tbh unless you're trying to publish in a top journal, the cheaper one is probably fine. Ngl I doubt the data needs to be that perfect.

Man, that's a tough choice. Did your advisor have any strong feelings about it? I'd be sweating that budget difference too.
