Can we talk about that $300 project management software I bought

I dropped $300 on a fancy ops tool that was supposed to automate our inventory tracking but it kept crashing on basic reports and support never replied. Anybody else had better luck with something cheaper or am I just picking bad stuff?

oh man i feel you so hard on this. i read this article a while back about how most project management software is actually way overhyped and built for huge companies not small teams. it said something like 70% of people who buy these tools end up switching within 6 months cause theyre too complicated. i think you mightve just gotten a bad one honestly. the crashing thing sounds like a nightmare and support ghosting you is just the cherry on top. for basic stuff like inventory tracking i heard some people just use google sheets with a few addons and it works fine. hope you can get your money back somehow.

Hey @jenny580, have you tried Basecamp? It's actually pretty simple and worked great for my small team.
