inFound out my grandmother's depression-era meatloaf recipe costs $3.75 more today than it did in 1995
Found a local butcher shop near me @jesse_cooper and it saved me a good bit on bulk ground beef.

inTook me 3 years to figure out my pie crust was weeping from this one mistake
Three years. Man, that is a painful discovery. Two hours in the fridge minimum, yeah that's a real game changer. I have a follow up question though - did you notice if your butter was actually cold enough when you cut it in? Because I had a similar problem where I was letting my butter get to room temp before mixing it in and that alone was making my dough greasy before it even hit the fridge. Just wondering if that was part of the issue too.

inThat one Tuesday where I fixed 3 dryers in a row before lunch
That one Tuesday where I fixed 3 dryers in a row before lunch" sounds like the universe was just testing your patience with bad luck. Honestly, sounds like the dryer gods were mad at you for some reason, probably because you didn't clean your own lint trap that morning. But hey, at least you got a good story out of it and a solid excuse to take an extra long lunch.

inGot banned from a gardening forum for saying mulch should go on top, not mixed in
oh man the green wood chips thing is such a debated topic. i literally just had this argument with a neighbor last week because he tossed fresh arborist chips right on his bean bed and the beans turned yellow. i told him yeah you gotta let em sit for a few months or they'll steal the nitrogen while they break down. but getting banned over that? that's crazy. i've seen mods let people absolutely rip into each other over compost ratios and nothing happens. sounds like those mods had a bad day and took it out on some well meaning gardener.

inThat moment the projector died during my big client pitch in Cleveland
Yeah, 'accidentally did great' might be the best description. My buddy had something similar happen. His laptop blue-screened right when he was about to show a client the revised budget spreadsheet. He just turned it to face them and said 'there it is, the system knows this is a bad deal.' They laughed and signed the contract. He still has no clue what was on that screen.
