Shoutout to the receptionist in Omaha who saved my inventory system

I was at a small business conference in Omaha last month and this receptionist showed me a simple spreadsheet trick that fixed our constant overstocking problem. She literally took a napkin and drew out a formula for tracking reorder points that I had been overcomplicating for years. Has anyone else had a random person at a conference completely change how you run your operations?
