Had to choose between a 12-inch sliding miter saw or a 10-inch stationary one for a big deck job in Boise. Went with the slider and it was a game changer for the long compound cuts.

Good call on the slider. A lot of folks forget how much a saw's weight matters on a job site. Dragging a heavy stationary saw around gets old fast, especially when you're moving it on and off the deck frame all day. Did you find the extra reach saved you from having to flip boards as often?

Saved my back for sure. Way less flipping, way more cutting. Makes a long day way shorter.

Ever notice how the right tool just makes the whole job feel lighter?

Totally, that extra slide meant way fewer awkward flips for me.
