Pro tip: Do not buy the 'official' gold Trump coin set from a late night ad

I saw this ad on TV around 2 AM, you know the kind. It was for a set of three 'limited edition' gold plated coins with different Trump pictures. They looked fancy and said they were a 'solid investment' for only $79.95 plus shipping. I was tired and just clicked buy. The box showed up two months later and the coins are basically the size of a dime and feel lighter than a bottle cap. The 'gold' is already rubbing off on one of them and you can see the cheap metal underneath. I feel like a total sucker. I wasted almost a hundred bucks on something I could have printed off my computer. Has anyone else fallen for one of these political merch traps and gotten total junk?

Call your credit card company and dispute the charge as a defective product, that's what I did when my "collector's edition" mug arrived cracked. They sided with me because the ad promised a quality item and what showed up was clearly junk. The company might try to fight it, but most banks will back you up when the stuff is this bad. Saved me from eating the cost on that scam.

Did they even have a return address on the box?
