Shoutout to the old-timer who told me to double-check my suction line pressure daily

I thought it was just busywork, but after a clog cost us a full shift on the Willamette project, I started doing it. Now I catch a drop in pressure before it becomes a real problem. Anyone else have a simple check that saved their butt?

Yeah, for sure. I started doing a quick visual on all the hose connections before startup. It sounds dumb, but I found a small crack last week that would have blown out under pressure.

Oh man, same. I started checking the fluid levels on the main pump every morning. Takes two minutes and saved me from a nasty burnout last month.
