My cousin in Berlin said 'a locked diary is just paper, but a locked phone is your whole life' and I can't stop thinking about it

Ever feel like your phone is a vault you're scared to open? I had that same heavy feeling. What finally helped was going through my photos and messages, deleting old stuff that didn't matter anymore. It made the whole thing feel less like a loaded weapon. Now I try to back up the important bits and let the rest go. It's just a tool, not my actual life.

My 3am photo purge felt like @ramirez.barbara's vault cleanout.

You actually went through your messages too? I could maybe handle the photos, but my old texts feel like a landmine field I'm not brave enough to walk through.
