PSA: I tried a $35 LED mask for a month versus my clinic's professional panel.
The mask felt weak and the results were zero. The panel cleared up a client's stubborn texture in three weeks flat. Anyone else see a huge gap between at-home and pro-grade light therapy?

What about the risk of eye damage with the cheap ones? I mean, my friend got a headache for days after using a knockoff mask. The clinic ones have those safety goggles and filters that actually work. Maybe the power difference isn't just about results, it's about not hurting yourself. That's a pretty big gap to me.

Come on, your friend probably just had the power set too high. Those cheap masks work fine if you read the manual and don't go full blast right away. People blame the gear when it's usually user error.

Three weeks is nothing to sneeze at though. Sounds like the pro stuff is just built different.
