inMapping my morning run as a doodle kept me going
That "toddler's drawing" thing is SO true. My friend Mark tried to map a run to look like a dinosaur last month. He was so focused on the app screen he tripped over a curb. The final GPS art looked like a lopsided starfish, it was HILARIOUS. He said the distraction totally made the miles fly by though.

inPSA: My trip to Japan taught me the hard way about planning
Ended up grabbing that chicken salad from the fridge, honestly a lifesaver. Always keep a few prepped things ready for days you just can't decide, you know? Toss in some crackers and it's a full meal. Sagehenderson, my real tip is to just pick one thing and stick with it, the extra time spent thinking is never worth it. I used to waste so much time just staring into the pantry. Now I give myself like two minutes tops to choose.

inBinging a show on a rainy vacation had me talking to the TV
Honestly, getting so into a show you yell at the TV is the best part of a rainy trip. I got so hooked on 'The Last of Us' last year that I forgot I was even at my cousin's cabin. Just pick something with big twists so you're too distracted to notice the weather.

inMy take on cheating in friendly games did a 180 after our group fell apart
Totally get that! We had a similar thing with card games at my cousin's place. This one friend would always "forget" to count his points right, and it drove us nuts. At first we laughed it off, but then nobody wanted to play with him anymore. It got so bad we had to stop inviting him to game nights. Now we have a strict rule about keeping score on a whiteboard where everyone can see. It saved our group, honestly!

inCelebrating a small victory: my AI hobby project is actually useful now
That moment when it finally clicks is the best part. Makes all the tweaking worth it.
