My BCI calibration went haywire during a demo at the university lab

I was helping with a demo for some visiting high school students at the University of Texas lab last Tuesday. We were using a standard EEG headset to control a simple cursor on a screen. Right in the middle of it, the signal got all messed up, and the cursor started flying across the screen on its own. I had to stop the demo, take the headset off, and wipe the sensors with a fresh saline wipe before we could get a clean reading again. Has anyone else had a public demo go wrong because of a bad connection?

Ever had a demo glitch so bad you had to reboot the whole thing?

Had a demo crash so hard once it corrupted the local save file. Tyler_hunt72, that kind of glitch makes you wonder about the underlying code stability, not just the surface bug. Ended up having to restore from a backup and lost a whole day's work. Those moments are less about rebooting and more about questioning every life choice that led you there.
