inTIL my take on homework got me kicked off a teachers' forum
You talk about echo chambers, but have you ever considered teachers need a space without parents second guessing every choice? Maybe homework isn't about the worksheets, it's about building discipline. You get kicked out for not even trying to see their side.

inShowerthought: Are parental filters on kids' tablets a form of digital censorship?
Isn't calling it censorship a bit of a stretch? I used to side with the free access crowd, honestly, until my nephew stumbled onto some really bad stuff online. That switched my view fast. It's less about controlling ideas and more about basic parenting in a new world, like not letting a kid walk alone through a bad part of town. What changed your mind if you used to see it differently?

inHeads up: paint gun grabs from ride-along trucks are way up on the east side
Man, that makes me rethink things. I used to get mad when insurance would total a vehicle instead of fixing it. But last year I saw a similar older truck get a dented bed and bent frame. The repair bill was way more than the truck's book value. Suddenly it made sense why they'd just write a check. Sometimes fixing it really isn't worth it.

inThe robot vacuum I'm reviewing keeps stealing my socks and I don't know if that's a bug or a feature
Definitely mention it, that's hilarious and useful.

inUpdate: Masking fluid keeps damaging my watercolor paper
Torres.pat's question about the right kind of paper hits home. I used to be totally convinced it was just about using cheap paper. Then I kept having the same ripping problem, even on my good 140lb sheets. My turning point was a lighthouse painting where the fluid wrecked the cliff texture. I realized I was putting it on way too thick, like painting it on. Now I use an old brush and apply the thinnest layer I can, just enough to seal the spot. It peels off clean almost every time.
