inTIL I've personally replaced over 500 DEF injectors in the last two years.
Bad batch? That would be a nice, simple fix. We've seen the same failure from three different suppliers across two states. The pattern is way too consistent to be a fluke. It points back to a core design flaw in the mounting bracket. Every single one cracks in the exact same spot under normal load. Feels like the engineers missed a basic stress calculation.

inAppreciation post: That time a frozen brake line on a logging truck in Bend almost beat me
You see that kind of stubborn problem everywhere, not just on trucks. It's like a stripped bolt on a kid's bike or a rusted shut window at home. You start with the right tool, like @dakota_king3 said about a line wrench, but sometimes it's already too far gone. The real skill is in the backup plan, that slow drill-out with oil when you're out of time. It's about fixing what's broken with what you have left.

inHad to bite my tongue when a guest suggested duct tape for my oak trim. Respect the craft, people.
See this everywhere now. People want the good result without paying for the good stuff that makes it happen. Oliver_murphy is right, you have to show them. They think all paint is the same or all wood is the same. They don't get that the cheap version falls apart in a year. It's not just being picky, it's about things actually working.

inA pipe over the wrench handle freed my toughest pedal job
I did the pipe trick for ten years until I saw it snap a crank arm. Now I just soak it with penetrating oil overnight.

inI finally blew up at the parts network over their false stock alerts.
Found that bypassing the online system and calling the local branch works better.
