Just realized how much a simple question from a friend changed how I think about learning to code
Honestly, I was helping my friend Mark set up his first Python project last week. He was stuck on a basic loop for like an hour, getting really frustrated. He finally looked at me and said, 'Tbh, I feel so dumb. Why can't I just get this?' I told him that exact thing happened to me when I started, and I showed him my old code from six months ago. It was full of the same mistakes. Seeing his face light up when he realized everyone starts somewhere was a big deal. It made me think we don't talk enough about how messy the first steps are. Ngl, that one chat in my living room stuck with me more than any tutorial. Has anyone else had a moment like that, where helping someone else actually helped you understand something better?
